Eligibility :
  • Nationality and Enrollment

    • Open to all international students of any nationality.

    • Must be enrolled in a college or university that awards a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).

    • Must be an undergraduate student who has completed at least the first year of undergraduate studies by the program start date.

  • Academic Standing: Should not be graduating before the program begins and must be returning to undergraduate studies for at least one additional semester or quarter after the program ends.

  • Language Requirement: Must provide a letter from the university certifying that the medium of instruction is English (English proficiency certificate).

  • Additional Requirements

    • Accommodation: Participants are required to live in the accommodation provided by UTokyo.

    • Participation: Expected to fully engage in daily activities, respect laboratory members' work, and actively participate in lab meetings and gatherings.

    • Orientation and Events: Must attend orientation on June 4, as well as all required conferences, activities, and social events.

    • Final Presentation: Required to present a summary of their work at the end of the internship.
