Applications are open for the FAO Internship Program 2024, a paid internship offered by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). This program is available to recent graduates or students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs, allowing them to gain practical experience without relocating, as placements are ideally within their home country or residency. The internship period ranges from 3 to 11 months, providing opportunities for students worldwide to contribute to FAO's mission of ending hunger and improving agriculture, forestry, and food resources globally.

The FAO Internship Program targets determined and hardworking students eager to make a global impact. It offers young and talented individuals the chance to practice fieldwork and gain exposure to food-related issues, aligning with FAO's commitment to eradicating hunger. Established in 1945 and headquartered in Rome, Italy, FAO has 194 Member Nations and works with governments internationally to develop sustainable practices in agriculture, forestry, and food resources. This program supports interns in transforming their ambitions into actionable contributions to global food security and agricultural development. The duration of an internship assignment is between 3 and 11 months.
